Give Yourself 1 Hour

Moms and Dads, I am one to put myself to the side for my kids, I have been doing it for a while now.  I have 3 kids with 3 different schedules and the list never stops.  I constantly feel like there are more important things to do than scheduling time for myself, I give myself the bare necessities but everything else takes priority.   However, I am realizing that this is life when you have children, it never stops and that is the true beauty of it.  I just started putting myself as a priority for at least 1 hour a day and boy does it feel GOOD!  It is so important to focus on yourself, exercise and do what makes you happy.  Working out is a re-energizer and will help you with the rest of your day especially now that the kids are home on vacation, our jobs never stop, there are always hands pulling us in every direction.   

As parents, our role is never ending, we are truly expected be a SuperMOM and SuperDAD ALL THE TIME and around the clock.  It is exhausting and a true blessing all at the same time.   TRUST ME that working out will give you more energy and it gets everything flowing.  Give yourself 1 hour a day to workout, do Yoga, Zumba, Walk, Run, Kick Boxing, Pilates or something you like that will help you re-focus.  Everyone around you WHO NEEDS YOU be it your child or your job will benefit from you and YOU will be better for it.  Enjoy your hour and make it a priority.  After my work out, I feel great and self accomplished, it motivates me to keep on going.  A tip:  Find a gym that has a good daycare where you can drop off the kids and they will also enjoy their time and you will have some time to focus on you.  Try it out a few times before you sign-up to ensure you and  your kids will benefit from it and it is a good fit before you make the decision.  

Make the time, give yourself 1 hour a day, you will LOVE IT.
